6 MONTHS!

Xander is 6 MONTHS OLD!! I just can't believe it!!! UGH! He is growing so fast!!! The pediatrician was so impressed with him!! She said developmentally he was a 9 month old! He even "scooted" for her!!! And he did is "Down-ward dog" Yoga pose for her! LOL!! She was really impressed with and with how happy he was! :) However, she also go to experience the "Golden Shower!" I felt terrible though!! She did say he had a "wonderful stream!" LOL!! He is still in the 95% for height, but dropped to the 25% in weight. He did gain weight, but only a couple pounds. He is just shy of 16lbs right now. So, we are introducing solids now!! YAY! He isn't a huge fan of it just yet, but I have a feeling it will get better!!! He did seem to like when I mixed sweet potatoes and oatmeal together!! I also think when we introduce fruits it will be a whole new story! LOL! He LOVES apple juice, so I have a feeling fruits will be a piece of cake! Also, we are getting FOUR TEETH!! The two tops and two bottoms!! I KNEW something was going on because he is chewing on everything!!

We also got 6 Month pictures today!! There wasn't ONE bad picture in the bunch!! I had such a hard time picking out pictures to buy!! Just thought I would share a couple of my favorites! :)

Fun Filled Weekend!

My Mom and Aunt Helen came down to visit this weekend and we had a BLAST!!! We went to the Dallas Zoo and it was great!!! I have lived in Dallas 6 years and this is the FIRST time I have been!! Breckyn and I rode the CAMEL!! It was so cool. Her name was Tiffany and Breckyn kept saying, "Good Tiffany! Your a good girl!" LOL! It was cute!!!

Then we came home and played outside!! It was a beautiful day here, a little windy, but great! So, we were practicing our twirling!! Hopefully I can get her to focus long enough to get a routine together so maybe we can twirl at Shannon's contest at the end of April! Or at least we can do our special duet! :)

Then Grandma and Mama tried to get Breckyn to do her somersault!! I think she is the only one that got it right! LOL!! How is it that a two year old can do it perfect!? Oh, yeah, I am old and out of shape!! Pay close attention to my Mom who seems to have lost her "way." LOL!

Then Mama decided to see if she still had it! LOL! Not my best work, but not horrible. I am definitely not KSU field ready and I have only 6 months to get my fat butt in gear to look half way decent at the game!! It's ALUMNI year!!! WHOHOO!!! :) Xander will be almost a year old then!! WOW!! Where has the time gone?!!!

Breckyn helped me make some Shake and Bake Chicken tonight and he had to wear her apron to do it! It was a lot of fun and she is a great helper!!

Solid Foods!

March 5th we decided to attempt the dreaded Rice Cereal!! Breckyn HATED it, so I wasn't so sure Xander would either. Especially since he seems to be following in his sisters footsteps in every way. He NEVER wanted a pacifier, got his first ear infection a four months, breathing treatments at five months, and he loves to swing! :) So, I figured he wouldn't be to found of it. And I was correct! LOL! He just wasn't to sure about the new texture in his mouth, but he did LOVE sitting in the high chair!

I am ready, bring it on!
