Family Disc Golf Day

Saturday was such a nice day we decided to take our very first Family Fun Trip to the disc golf course that is right by our house! :) Breckyn loves going and throwing the discs with Strider and I decided it would be nice to get out of the house since I am stuck in the house all day! So, we got Breckyn all bundled up and in her "SUV" stroller! And I strapped Xander on me with my "baby back pack!" My back was killing me after we were done, but I guess when you have an extra 13lbs strapped to you it makes a difference! LOL!!

Walking to the next "hole!"

Throwing her disc

He was exhausted! :)

Tea Party with the Princess

Breckyn and I had our first tea party together! It was a lot of fun! However, I have to teach her that just because there is still water in the tea pot it doesn't mean you have to keep pouring! LOL!!

Preparing the tea!

Notice the water NOT hitting the cup! And the towel is there for that very reason! :)

Little man isn't so little anymore!

On Wed Xander had his 4 month check up and he is such a big boy!!! He is now 26 1/4 inches long (95%) and 13lbs 12oz (45%)!!! He is such a big boy!!! Yet again, Dr. Burns couldn't stop gushing about how wonderful and ahead developmentally he was! :) He even rolled over 5 times for her! She also couldn't get over how strong he is! She said he has the strength of a 6 month old! He's my little Hercules!

The good ole' days.

So, I had an interview yesterday with a staffing company and the representative I spoke with told me that I was the BEST interview she has ever had! Which prompted me to write this blog. After 21 years (this year) of being involved in the twirling world my interview skills FINALLY came into play!! I always dreaded Modeling because I HATED doing interview! LOL!! So, now I just decided to take a trip down Memory lane! :)

WE BLEED PURPLE!

Just a typical Game Day in our house! :)

Getting ready to cheer on the Cats!

Gotta LOVE that smile!

My two favorite Wildcats!

Counting

Breckyn is learning so fast these days!! She is always talking about something from school or wanting to know what something is that she might not know. Then she repeats it to you and she can tell you the next day what that object is! She is so smart! I could be bias too though! :)

I got some great video of her counting. She was in the tub and just started counting to herself, so of course, I had to grab the camera and get video! I was so proud of her because normally she skips "four!" I have no idea why, but she does! LOL!! She also can count in SPANISH! Yep, no lie!! I couldn't' get her to count on camera for me, but she was counting to ten and I heard, "One, Two, Three, CUATRO, CINCO, SIX, Seven, Eight..." I about died!!! The girls at daycare said they do English and Spanish number and alphabet! How cool!!! I am hoping to get her counting in Spanish on video soon though! :)

Christmas/New Years in Kansas

We left on the 30th to go back to Kansas to celebrate Christmas with my family and we had a blast!!!! We got to show off our little man to his Grandma and Grandpa Pike, new cousins, Aunt, Uncle, and Great Aunts, Great Uncles, & Great Grandma and Grandpa Pike (who he gets his big ears from)! Breckyn was so glad to see Grandma and Grandpa too! :)

One day we went over to see my grandparents and Breckyn LOVED helping Great Grandma and Grandpa! :) Xander just enjoyed being held by them! :)
