Next Olympic All Around Champion is....

We have taken up Gymnastics! Breckyn had her first intro class Saturday and she loved it! So, we signed up! Every Saturday we will be going to gymnastics!  After all, its never to early to start preparing those walk-overs for field Twirling! :)  Pay no attention to the reflection pictures, they don't let the parents actually go in and watch but we watch from a window! So, it was hard for me to get good pictures!

We went to Strider's Aunt's cabin before the actual wedding and it was great!!! Allie, Strider's cousin- who was also in our wedding, was there and Breckyn LOVED playing with Allie! We also watched Fireworks on the 4th of July as well!

Sherman and Kyle's Wedding

Sherman and Kyle got married on July 7th and Breckyn and Xander were in the wedding! Breckyn was a flower girl and Xander was a ring barer. They did GREAT! But it was a bit challenging taking care of (and getting ready) two kids by myself, since Strider was best man.  Good thing I had Strider's cousin Jas to help me!!!!

Father's Day Weekend!

For Father's Day weekend we spent it out at Strider's Coworker, Don's, lake house with some of his other coworkers and it was a BLAST!

First Twirling Contest!

 Breckyn has officially had her first twirling contest!! She competed in Basic Strut and actually did it!!!! Now, she did it Backwards, but she did it! And she did it with a SMILE on her face the whole time!! Now we just have to get her to look at the JUDGE and not Mommy and Aunt Lindsay! :)

She was the youngest competitor there, and I couldn't have been prouder! :) However, I think we will be waiting a year or two before we start thinking of actually putting together a solo or modeling!

Easter FUN!

We had a blast at Easter this year!! We did an Easter Egg Hunt, made "Farts and Crafts" (as Breckyn would say), and even got some GOOD stuff From the Easter Bunny!
