Sad, but true. My little man is becoming less and less little and more man every day! Ugh. The past nine months have flown by! Now, while i was pregnant with him THOSE nine months DID NOT Fly by!! Here are a few new things:
***Xander has not really taken to eating table food at all. He would prefer Gerber puffs or baby food. Although we are STILL working on it everyday.
***He just might be trying to break a world record for speed crawling! HE IS QUICK!
***He LOVES to clap his hands!! He knows when we say "Yay" that he is suppose to clap! LOL!
***NOT a fan of peas. I mashed some up the other night hoping he would like to feed himself, not so much. He put them in his mouth and then spit them back out! LOL!
***Has FOUR teeth now!!! Two tops JUST broke through about two days ago, and his bottoms have been around for a while.
***LOVES to follow big sister around.....and take her toys. Now we need to work on the sharing phase for Breckyn!
***Is trying to WALK! Yes, you read correctly, WALK. He is pulling himself up and walking while holding on to things.
***Kind of balances. He will let got and balance for just a few seconds and then get excited start to bounce up and down and fall. LOL! :)
***Has starting taking baths in the big bathtub with sister!! They really enjoy playng with the ducks.... as long as Breckyn gets to have the princess one. And if Xander even LOOKS at it, we have some major WWIII happening in the bath tub! LOL! Good thing Mommy is always there to break it up! :)
***He LOVES bananas, or anything that has bananas in it!
Now for the important stuff! :)
Weight: 18lb 10oz. Still only in the 25% for weight.
Height: Almost 30 inches! We did drop I believe in this range though, from 95% to 75%. So, he is still a tall skinny boy!!
The doctor said developmentally he was a 12 month old!! :) Minus the talking. He doesn't really say a whole lot. Every time I ask him to say, "Mama" he looks at me, and shakes his head NO! LOL!! THAT he does have down! LOL!! He will even shake his head NO if he doesn't want to eat a certain food anymore!!!
Sadly, Xander is our last, so I am trying to savor every moment of him still being a "baby." But I just can't quiet wrap my head around the fact that in three months we will be celebrating his first birthday!!!!
